To all Luobaniyans having had problems accessing the music here …

No files needed to be re uploaded it is just the silly new rules of RabidShare that came in the way! Privileges were changed by them behind my back on January 16 2013 … I have been very busy and still am in South India (where the circummeter of my current state of Luobaniya resides at the moment,
see attached picture above and below and you'll understand why the tele communication and computer connections are not fantastic in the mountains at 2700 meters!

All other connection human to human being great though) I was nowhere near my regular workplace since last years november but II finally took time to look in to the situation and it should be working again as I made all files public again! … There seems however to be a limit in download traffic per user? per day? I have no time to find out these details but hopefully it works now. I'm sure you will tell me if it does not.

the limit is 50GB/day, resettedat O:00 CET, that should be enough, as long as you dont offer DVD-rips...

Thank you all for your kind support!
if outer forces do not interfere to much I will really try to continue making more rare vinyl available in digitized form. I have so much more that is almost ready to post, the rips are there the scans are there even track division and tagging is there. What I have not had the last two years is time to edit the final posts! It is my sincere hope that I'll find a way to remedy that when I get back to my normal workdesk this spring … What is here allready I will do my best to continue to keep the links updated of …
I do enjoy the mountains but am now back in Madras and tomorrow begins a workshop for carnatic singing led by Prince Rama Varma and I am very excited to be participating in that …

Hi,

Firstly, thanks for this such amazing blog. You made an incredible work.
Because I am a balafon player and because on your post of april 2011, you wrote that you will soon post
"BM 30 L 2308 Cote d'Ivoire:
- The Music Of The Senufo", I'm still expecting that you will do it one day.
Best regards.

I am very sad to delete this from the blogroll. This was one of my favorite places to visit but there have been no posts for one year and no messages since 05/2013.

Please let me know if you decide to revive the site.

Preparing to make a new post in the coming month aiming for the 1st of April and it is no joke! Greetings to all from the Interrim Consulate of Luobaniya.

For those who thought my previous comment was an April Fool statement please be reminded that the world was put on hold and my ambition was temporarily stumped so there will unfortunately still be some time until I get a post together. The future has always been unpredictable and now even more so. Maybe not very significant as far as good news go, I still intend to post some more albums here when time becomes less unforgiving …

Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? There is an abundance of music yet to behold!

Oh, ye of good faith, rest assured! There will be more posts!
